Advantages of Spiral Chute

Spiral chute is composed of feed separator, feed chute, spiral chute, intercepting trough, receiving hopper and the chute support. The spiral chute cut the concentrates, middling and tailings respectively in the end of the chute without flush water in the separation. It’s applied to separate iron, ilmenite, chromite massive isometric, pyrite, zircon, rutile, monazite, phosphorite, tungsten, stannum, tantalum, niobium and other non-ferrous metal, rare metal and nonmetallic ores with different specific gravity.

Working principle of Spiral Chute

 Let the spiral chute vertical and correct the vertical line. Fix it at a proper position by iron frame or wood. The sand pump sends sand to two feeding inlets above the spiral chute. Fill the water and adjust the concentration of the slurry. Next, the slurry will naturally flow downward and produce an inertia centrifugal force on the oblique surface. The ores and the sand are separated by gravity and centrifugal force based on different specific gravity, size and the shape. Concentrates flow into the hopper and is received by the pipe. The tailings flow into the tails hopper and to the sand sink through the pipe and then will be discharged by the sand pump. Thus, the ore separation is completed.
